Duck Tape Scores With Awesome "Tron" Ad

I am assuming that this is an officially sanctioned advertisement from Duck Tape brand tape, but even if it is not, it is ingenius and a faithful rendering of a classic Tron scene.  Extra points are awarded for including internet meme sensation Jay "the Tron Guy" Maynard, who is nerdtastic in his performance.

Star-Studded Beastie Boys Preview Rocks!

What do Will Ferrell, Jack Black, John C. Reilly, Danny McBride, Seth Rogan, Elijah Wood, Susan Sarandon, Ted Danson, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Rashida Jones, Steve Buscemi, Stanley Tucci and Chloë Sevigny have in common?  They all appear in the Beastie Boys two-minute preview of their upcoming star filled short film Fight For Your Right Revisited.  An awesome display of star power for the group, whose new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, is due out on May 3.  They seem to have acquired lots of friends and fans in their last 30 years of awesomeness.  Classic line:  Will Arnett saying "come on!!!" straight out of Arrested Development (relevant:  This Video!

OK Go's New Video is Toasty and Delicious!

Last Leaf

OK Go | Myspace Music Videos

For years now, rock band OK Go has been setting (and resetting) the bar for creative, complex and often ingenious music videos.  Their newest video for their song "Last Leaf" uses stop-motion animation burned into more than 2,000 individual slices of toast.  While you are at it, check out their previous efforts involving a Rube Goldbergesque invention, trained dog stacking, and the classic treadmill video that started it all.

Live Coco Cam Goes Live!

For all of you Conan O'Brien fans who can't wait 19 more days for his new show to premier on TBS, Conan is hooking you up with a sneak peek into the goings on at his office.  For the next 24 hours, a live web cam will be broadcasting from a stairwell in the Conan show offices.  The broadcast is less comedy and more a bizarre cavalcade of strange happenings.  A man reading poetry as others cover him with garbage, girls dancing in 1980s style leotards, Conan eating an apple.  It is oddly compelling.  What will happen next? Who knows, but I kind of want to find out.

Check it out at http://www.teamcoco.com/live
